Our Projects
Reading for Kidz has worked with the Boys and Girls Club in Fullerton, The La Habra's Children's Museum, Pacific Drive Elementary, the Anaheim Public Library, and the American Academy of Pediatrics Orange County Chapter to spread a love for reading.
Reading for Kidz has also partnered with Science for Kidz (a sister organization) to spread a love for both STEM and reading.

Summer Reading Program
We recently partnered with Pacific Drive Elementary and the Fullerton School District to offer a Summer Reading Program. This 6-week program aimed to mentor 3-6th grade students and encourage them to enjoy reading. Each week, we read a chapter together and then used our creativity to create fun projects related to the story.

Reading X STEM Workshops
Reading for Kidz has partnered with Science for Kidz to provide Reading X STEM workshops to children in the community. We work with the Boys and Girls Club in Fullerton and the La Habra Children's Museum to introduce children to the world of science through our interactive workshops. During each workshop, we read a short story and then engage students in a fun STEM activity.

Book Donation Drives
We work with local organizations to collect gently used books and donate them to children in need. Recently, we worked with the American Academy of Pediatrics Orange County Chapter to collect and donate a total of 1400 books to be used in pediatric offices, doctor's offices, and different school districts across Orange County.
